"HUMANITY THROUGH A KALEIDOSCOPE"
What Colour of Cloak Did We Come to Humanity In? Was it Dark or Light, Long or Short, Thick or Thin? Was it Soft or Coarse, Black, Brown, Yellow, White or Red? What Colour is Our Blood when We have been Wounded and Left for Dead? Do We ever Think of Those Richly Blessed or Others Who Suffer and are Oppressed? Do We Think with a “Heart of Hate” while We Determine Another’s Fate? Do We Extend a Helping Hand to Those Less Fortunate in Any Land? Do We Mock Those Who are Crippled and Weak or Those Who have No Confidence to Speak? Is Our Ego So Huge We cannot be Taught to have Compassion for Those Who are Distraught? Do We Think We are More Entitled than Others Around? Do We See the Tears of Anguish from Those Crying on the Ground? Do We Provide Comfort to Those in Grief Who Feel Lost and Alone in Their Disbelief?
Do We Think We can Make a Difference in this Sacred Space and that Human Suffering can be Erased? If We Hold Our Kaleidoscope Strong and Upright can We See a Humanity of “Love” and “Light”? Can We Feel a Sense of Serenity and Peace and See Our Life Full of Joy, Comfort and Ease? Can We Hear the Wisdom in Another’s Words and be Open to Listening and Not have to be Heard? Can We Speak from a Place of Honesty and Truth Discarding Thoughts that are Negative and Uncouth? Can We be “Ambassadors of Love” wherever We Go Providing Encouragement from What We Know?
If, for a Moment We Chose a Different View, Could We Show Grace in All that We Do? Could Humanity Really be Free from Unrest, Dissension and Disharmony? Could We Truly Open Our Hearts to Each Other, Looking at Everyone through Our Kaleidoscope as Sister and Brother?
